A unique setting

Staying at Castle Ter Wallen means more than a room. It means four hectares of parkland, a heated pool, a jacuzzi and an honesty bar that never truly closes. Here you are surrounded by greenery and quiet. Let yourself be carried along by the charm and character of the château estate.

Honesty Bar

A refined selection of wines, spirits and beers, open daily until 11 pm. No barman behind the counter, no till. You pour your own, you note what you take, and we settle it quietly with your stay. A matter of trust, hence the name.

Alongside the regular list we keep a few special bottles, a château selection for those with something to celebrate. Do ask for our Honesty Bar Bible, a little guide to a fine moment.

The private estate

Four hectares of parkland, a broad terrace, a pond and a fountain. The finest spot for a morning coffee, an afternoon aperitif or a walk with no destination in mind. In the evening, quiet settles over the estate, and mostly you hear the birds.

Pool & jacuzzi

During your stay you can unwind at the pool and jacuzzi. Take time to relax and enjoy a well-earned stay in complete comfort. The outdoor pool is heated and open from mid-May to the end of September.

Instant vakantiegevoel als je de imposante oprit richting het kasteel opdraait. De tuin is perfect onderhouden. De kamer is heel ruim en proper. De jacuzzi op het terras was zalig. De badkamer was ruim en mooi en het ontbijt lekker. Maar wat ons het meest kon bekoren was de gastvrijheid van Laurence, haar professionaliteit en oog voor de wensen van de gasten. Wij hebben genoten!

Alles was top. Prachtige locatie, verwarmd zwembad, zeer schoon en comfortabel. Perfect voor een uitstap naar Brugge, Gent, Lille of de kust. We waren erg tevreden over ons verblijf.

Aanrader. We hebben hier overnacht met enkele bevriende koppels als onderdeel van het arrangement met diner in restaurant Boury. Prachtige ruime comfortabele kamers, lekker ontbijt, heel mooie gerenoveerd kasteel en prachtige tuin. Vriendelijke ontvangst en ook heel handig dat er een transport voorzien was naar het restaurant en terug. Kers op de taart was het bezoek aan de jacuzzi. Zwembad was nog dicht (november) maar drankje in de jacuzzi buiten in de namiddag was een leuke extra.

We verbleven in het vakantiehuis, niet in het Hotel. Het was werkelijk prachtig. Schoon en modern, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Perfecte locatie. We hadden zelfs een kerstboom.

The homely atmosphere, the peaceful green surroundings, and the well-equipped meeting space allowed us to recharge while maintaining full focus on all work-related topics. The stylish setting, steeped in history, the pleasant sun terrace, the heated swimming pool, and the beautiful garden made our stay an unforgettable two-day experience. We would love to come back!
