Laurence
Laurence Vansteenkiste is your hostess at Boutique Hotel TerWallen. She is a barrel full of energy and in 2018 she decided to make her dream come true. She rented the Ter Wallen domain in Izegem and started the start-up of her Hotel. After ten months of intensive renovation and refurbishment, the Boutique Hotel officially opened its doors on 23 September 2019.
Laurence is a hostess who enjoys what she does. She welcomes her guests with a warm heart and she pays attention to the good things in life. She ensures that cosiness, homeliness and authenticity are central to Kasteel Ter Wallen.
Jaren ervaring
Laurence has been passionate about cooking, serving people and good food from an early age. She loves hospitality and likes to go out of her way for others. During her youth, she often worked in restaurants, bars and hotels as a student worker. These first experiences ensured that Laurence was bitten by the catering bug.
After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management in Bruges, she dreamed of having her own catering company. After her studies, she first gained extensive experience in the hotel sector and was also active at an importer of catering items. Four years after her studies, the opportunity came to pursue her dream. She grabbed this opportunity with both hands. Boutique Hotel Ter Wallen was born.
