Eperon d'Or

Eperon d’Or is our most generous accommodation: a spacious suite, or small apartment, beneath the castle roof, with room for the whole party. An ideal choice for families or friends who want to stay together with all the comfort of home.

The suite has a large lounge with a built-in roof terrace. Behind the partition wall is a double bed. A separate attic room with four single beds provides extra sleeping space. It has two flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, a Nespresso machine, a minibar, a hairdryer and a separate toilet. The bathroom, with a large bath and separate shower, is stocked with Marie-Stella-Maris care products.

Een topbestemming! Mooie accomodatie, zeer rustige omgeving - lekker ontbijt - zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, dus gewoon perfect ! Een echte aanrader.

Aanrader. We hebben hier overnacht met enkele bevriende koppels als onderdeel van het arrangement met diner in restaurant Boury. Prachtige ruime comfortabele kamers, lekker ontbijt, heel mooie gerenoveerd kasteel en prachtige tuin. Vriendelijke ontvangst en ook heel handig dat er een transport voorzien was naar het restaurant en terug. Kers op de taart was het bezoek aan de jacuzzi. Zwembad was nog dicht (november) maar drankje in de jacuzzi buiten in de namiddag was een leuke extra.

The name behind the room Eperon d'Or

Named after ‘the golden spur’ (eperon d’or), one of Izegem’s most iconic shoe factories. Founded in 1863, once a purveyor to the Court, with an Art Deco building that survives to this day.

Ter Wallen lies centrally in Izegem. Within walking distance you will find a wide choice of places to eat and drink. From 't Hemelhuys and the Oude Sint Pieter (two minutes) to De Smaak (four minutes). Bruges, Ghent and the Westhoek are each within half an hour for a day trip.
