Joseph is a warm comfort room at the front of the château, looking out over the estate where the Ter Wallen story began. A light, restful room in which to unwind completely.
The room has a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a Nespresso machine, a minibar, a large dressing area and a hairdryer. Atmospheric LED lighting along the bed walls gives a warm glow in the evening. The spacious bathroom with shower is stocked with Marie-Stella-Maris care products.
Joseph Van Naemen, a textile industrialist from Sint-Niklaas, had this château built in 1906 out of love for his wife Susanne. He was a town councillor and alderman of the City of Izegem.
The château stands in the centre of Izegem, with plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Discover the cosy 't Hemelhuys, the Oude Sint Pieter or restaurant De Smaak (a two-minute walk). Bruges, Ghent and the Westhoek are each within half an hour, ideal for a day trip.
From snug room to generous suite, every room at Ter Wallen has its own character. Do take a look at the others as well.
